Not only do I have an impact in my everyday life, but I also have an unconsidered massive online imprint that I leave behind, too. There’s lots of me out there, different versions of myself leaving footprints over time in the online world. Blog posts, social media accounts, my websites, articles, online reviews by me or for me, places I have been tagged and don’t even know about.
What do we do with all that? It’s wild. I suppose it points out how indelible we are in a weird way. That despite ourselves, we leave an impression behind even when we aren’t aware of it, even if we personally have forgotten it.
How much of my life is really private? Is it possible these days to create privacy, and how often do I not bother with privacy for the sake of convenience? It’s something we all have to deal with in this era.
Most of us choose convenience over privacy 99 times out of 100. It’s actually difficult to choose privacy with the way we have set things up online! Yet here we are. I am not sure where to go from here, but my collection of unnecessary trackers has got to reduce!
